Opening In the Main Gallery we will be hosting another members show. Although there is no specific theme, we are calling it “Handmade for the Holidays”. We are always surprised and delighted to see what comes in from our talented members and how the exhibit comes together. Be assured it will be colourful and creative!
In the Turret Room, we are excited to welcome Rhonda Melanson, a local poet and teacher, reading from her second poetry chapbook “My Name is Mary”. She will be accompanied by local singer/songwriter Missy Burgess. Books and CD’s will be available for purchase. Put a reminder in your calendar and we hope to see you there!
Our Gift Shop is ready and brimming with unique items for the holiday season. It’s a great opportunity to pick up that one of a kind gift for that special someone on your shopping list. All items are provided by our talented local artists and artisans.
Too busy to make it into the house? Why not shop online and pick up later? Everything in the Gift Shop, along with all our current exhibit can be viewed and purchased online on the website, under ‘Gift Shop’ at https://shop.lawrencehouse.ca.
This is the season of being thankful and we are truly thankful for our volunteers, members and patrons. We thank you for your continued support throughout the year, as it keeps the Lawrence House Centre for the Arts open.
